Cycle to work returns!

From 9am on Monday (30th October 2023) we’re pleased to share that you can, once again, take advantage of the government’s Cycle to Work scheme.

This scheme allows you to get yourself a new bike and/or equipment at a saving of between 32% and 47% and spread the payments – which will come out of your salary – over 12 or 18 months.

All you need to do to get yourself a new bike and/or equipment up to the value of £1,500.00 (subject to National Minimum Wage checks) is log into your WorkPerks account and submit your application here: https://stark.rewardgateway.co.uk/CycleToWork

Then, when your application is successful, you’ll be given a Letter of Collection (LoC) to use in-store or online at over 1,250 cycling retailers – including Halfords, tredz.co.uk, and hundreds of independent bike shops.

A few points to note:

  • The scheme is subject to national minimum wage checks.
  • The scheme will be open alongside our Benefit Windows every month, therefore you won’t be restricted to sign up at certain points of the year.
  • Employees who are based in Jersey or the Isle of Man are not eligible.
  • Employees who are already part of the C2W Scheme are not eligible to apply for another bike until their deductions complete.
  • Whilst Cycle to Work payments are deducted from your salary you are also entitled to:
    • Lifetime safety checks on all cycles obtained through the scheme.
    • Lifetime guarantee on Halfords brand cycles.
    • 10% off cycling essentials in any Halfords store for the duration of your initial hire period (restrictions apply).
    • Access to all instore sale and promotional prices at Halfords and Tredz.
    • 14 days free cycle insurance.
