This year marks 20 years of partnership between JCB and Jewson Tool Hire. To mark the occasion, last month Mark Esling, Business Development Director, Jewson visited the construction equipment manufacturer’s headquarters in Staffordshire to reflect on the past 20 years and discuss how to evolve the partnership in the coming years.
Jewson has stocked JCB tools, machines and equipment for the past two decades, with a huge range of products on a buy and hire basis available to its customers. Jewson is also expanding its electric hire offering, with diggers, dumpers and tracked barrows added to its electric fleet.
Mark Esling, business development director at Jewson, says: “JCB is a key partner and we are proud to be marking such an important anniversary of working together. As two British-born brands, we are aligned on our core values of supporting the trade and empowering builders, tradespeople and contractors across all industries with the best products, services and expertise and we look forward to a bright future together.”
Steve Fox, Managing Director for JCB Global Major Accounts, said: “We are delighted to celebrate this anniversary with Jewson. Supplying them with JCB machines for 20 years is testament to the quality of our range of compact machinery.
“The addition of electric powered machines to their fleet demonstrates that Jewson are looking to the future and the opportunities that these zero emissions machines will afford them.”
