Thousands of builders and tradespeople descended on the NEC last week for Jewson Live on
Tour, the annual event held by national builders’ merchant Jewson.
John Carter, CEO of STARK UK – part of STARK Group, which acquired a collection of
businesses including Jewson from Saint-Gobain in March 2023 – said: “Jewson Live at the
NEC was incredible – and as I hoped it would be. It was a brilliant celebration of the relationship
between merchant, supplier and customer, and how we all work together to keep the country
moving forwards with inspirational building projects.
“No other merchant in the industry offers what Jewson Live does, and we do it because we have
something to say. This year, having used Jewson Live to launch our rebrand and reveal our
Branches of the Future, we’re signalling that times are changing for the better – and that’s why
we’re also taking Jewson Live on tour over the next few weeks.
“I’d like to thank all our brilliant suppliers who worked closely with us to deliver what was a
fantastic event, because we couldn’t do it without them, and I hope that our customers have come away safe in the knowledge that we are 100% focused on them, their businesses, and their priorities. Our customer relationships are central to everything we do.
“This event was a long time coming – above all else, we wanted everyone to have fun, and I
think we achieved that. Now, the next step of our tour beckons. We’re looking forward to seeing
our customers in Maidstone, Glasgow and Exeter, and ensuring the fun continues.”
